0106 - Life Stage, Transition
Coordination or management of life stages, transitions, and supports includes both short-term and long-term assistance aimed at improving the participant's ability to coordinate their supports and enabling them to live at home and participate in their community.
0107 - Personal Activities
This group covers daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication assistance, and domestic support such as cleaning, shopping, and attending personal appointments.
0108 -Travel/Transport
Depending on the level of support, a support worker can accompany the client on public transportation or in their own vehicle. Clients can also choose to learn how to use public transportation on their own.
0116 - Innovative Community Participation
This support item is designed to enable providers to offer new and innovative services to participants and is for mainstream providers who want to enable participants to access mainstream activities. Such as the organiser of concerts or cooking classes.
0117 - Development-life skills
This support item provides individual life skills development and training, which includes public transportation training and support as well as developing skills for community, social, and recreational participation. It also teaches group members how to be more self-sufficient in their daily lives.
0120 - Household Tasks
This support item enables participants to maintain their home environment. This may involve undertaking essential household tasks that the participant is not able to undertake. Such as meal preparation and house or yard maintenance.
0121 - Interpret/Translate
0125 - Social, Economic and Community Participation
This assistance assists individuals from non-English-speaking backgrounds in gaining access to appropriate language interpreting and translating services. TIS provides these services both in person and over the phone. This assistance is designed to help people communicate clearly and eliminate confusion or misunderstanding.
This support category relates to assisting with or supervising a participant to engage in community, social, recreational or economic activities. These supports can be provided in a range of environments, such as the community or a centre. For example, assistance with going to movies or the community.
